ABOUT
Dianne Gorvin was born in Iowa where long winters were customary, and she frequented the local library, developing a love of reading. Always and avid reader of all genres, she spent much of her career in marketing and strategic planning before turning her focus to the stories that had long been quietly taking shape in her imagination.
Her debut novel, The Tides of Yesterday, explores memory, identity, and the intricate bonds of family. Written with clarity and compassion, it reads like a conversation with someone you’ve known for years—intimate, reflective, and quietly powerful.
She began writing over twenty years ago, but it wasn’t until recently that she decided to bring her work to the publishing arena. She is drawn to characters who are never quite what they seem.
Outside of writing, Dianne enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family. A former wine steward, she still enjoys discovering new vintages and pairing them with a wonderful book. She is currently working on her second novel at her home in Austin, Texas.
“I feel books and reading are respite for the soul. They immerse you in places you have only dreamed of, offering new concepts, ideas and opening our hearts and minds to the world.”
